About Rebecca
Rebecca Catherine Gray is a classical realist artist who loves telling beautiful stories with pencil and brush. Rebecca has received honors from the Art Renewal Center, Grand Central Academy, Hudson River Fellowship, and Olivet Nazarene University. Rebecca's artworks are in private collections and are shown in galleries across the United States.
Rebecca teaches drawing, painting, anatomy and color theory from her extensive personal collection of classical art reference. She has taught at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and the Flint Institute of Art, and gives individual and group lessons online and in her own studio.
Rebecca completed the four-year program at Grand Central Atelier in New York under the instruction of Jacob Collins, Colleen Barry, and Scott Waddell. Rebecca has also studied with Jura Bedic at the Florence Academy of Art, and Juliette Aristides in Seattle, WA. Rebecca also travels to paint and visit museums in Europe and the US.
